The workshop provides concepts, skills and techniques Puppet Theatre supplemented by skills training as a basis to start in this art or practice of applying it in various activities.


Target: Youth and Adults.

Duration: Three months.

Hours: Fridays from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

About the Workshop:
The central objective of the workshop is to develop the concept of animation, ie the process that allows any element to reach be a puppet for it will leave the glove puppet because despite its apparent simplicity is one of the most demanding and through experiential relationship with Him participants will discover the principles of animation puppets and develop strategies to achieve it, will be complemented it with another animation technique chosen by each participant to extrapolate what has been acquired with the glove to another scenic backdrop and another body structure and check the "universality" of the principles of animation. As for clothing
will be two or three puppets complex depending on the progress of each participant, will start preparing glove puppets modeled in papier mache head, then each participant choose another type of puppet and material for making them, according to the time available and interest of students can make and explore other simple puppets.
In parallel with the work of making and animation to provide a theoretical underpinning that shows an overview of Puppet Theatre as an artistic discipline, element socio-cultural and practical applicability.

Martin Molina Castillo , Puppeteer Tárbol belonging to groups and Castor, has been training with Kusi Kusi, Felipe Rivas Mendo, and other training workshops complementing its research and experimentation. In 1994 he founded the group to Puppet "La Pera", in 1999 participated as a guest on the play "The people of the sun" group Kusi Kusi, from that year a member of TÁRBOL and 2005 creates "Castor" has participated in assemblies that have been presented in a theatrical space, schools, and streets in Lima and the interior of the country as well as in international festivals in Chile and Argentina.
